R&D on scintillating and optical crystals

BGRI dedicated to crystals research and development since 1960. Scintillating crystals from BGRI were used in many international HEP projects, such as SSC, SLAC, KEK, DANCE, TAPS, etc. We can not only provide series of scintillating crystals but also devote new crystals research in order to meet with the updating demands of customer. We appreciate to collaborate with you in any ways. Do not hesitate to tell us what you need.

R&D on novel optical fibers

BGRI is one of the three initiators of R&D on optical fiber in China. We manufactured the first fiber in China in 1963. Since then many projects for national military, high-tech, or foundation research were finished successfully in BGRI.

R&D on novel glasses

BGRI developed more than 20 kinds of optical glasses which used in science, industry and military. Recently we dedicate to low melting point sealing glasses, high temperature coating glasses and glass lubricators for metal forging. We developed non-lead sealing glasses used in magnetic core sealing for TTK(Japan) in 2001.
